I don't believe this is a bug of samba. When using smbclient directly
this effect does not apply, i.e. no crashes or missing directory
entries. Also no problem with Ruby/SMB (http://rubysmb.sourceforge.net/)
for example.

I think this is the bug I have. I ran the most recent updates for Intrepid and
it disabled something with xconfig. This is also causing me to be forced into
low-graphics mode on restart.
When trying to run NVIDIA Xserver settings I get the following error:

I have a similar problem. Setting the CapsLock option to "Caps lock
toggles shift so all keys are affected" (the "shift cancels caps lock"
option disappeared in gnome about a year ago), I get the desired effect
(shift does cancel caps lock), but the keyboard caps lock light no

files with russian letters in filename on NTFS volume. NTFS volume is on

I have once again returned with more info. I have discovered that the problem
is not actually solved by the link that I posted above, but is indeed caused by
setting the value in /etc/pulse/daemon.conf to:

Yes it is reproducible. I've got the same problem on my netbook and on
my desktop-PC.
I just download my Emails (I've set to leave them on the server). Then I
delete them and as I described above I thought that they get deleted
online as well, like under Thunderbird. But when I check it online the

This bug is indeed present in Jaunty and affects AR5008 as well as
AR5418.
I've had far better luck connecting to WEP WAPs using Wicd (over the
shoddy performance attributed to n-m)
Wicd gets me connected to my preferred WAPs from startup -- but I'm
unable to reconnect upon resume (after suspend)
