I made a new installation, with Gutsy Tribe 4 (amd64 alternate CD).
The result was very similar to the above, only with tribe 4 the screen went
black, instead of the colored blocks I got with tribe 3. I was able to complete
the installation blindly, by simply pressing enter a few times. After reb

yelp crashed with SIGSEG
After the upgrade of the policykit (new version 0.6-1ubuntu4), this problem
still occurs.
Opening the network manager via the applet asks for the administrative password
and the unlock button is greyed out.
Running gksudo network-admin in a terminal window gives the same behavior.
