component from VHDL to verilog

i would like to add that running a video or a movie causes the sata
errors and the Hdd speed decreases and become configured in a less udma
mode and if i left the video open for a few min after that the computer
will freeze

i have the same problem but i have only 1 sata hd (3 ntfs partitions and 1 ext
3)
the problem happen when i make any thing that deals with the hard disk (either
ntfs or ext3 partition)...
i also noticed that when ubuntu starts the hdd is configured for udma/133 and
every thing is perfect but
iam not sure but i think that the (2.6.27-9-generic) kernel has solved the
problem partially
what i mean is that i got those errors rarely (during normal use...no video
files) and the performance doesn't decrease...(it remains udma/133)
before this update i got alot of errors even when iam using
i have to say that i have fixed my problems after 6 months of misery :) thanks

my problem was the psu..i didnt suspect it coz it was a new 600W onebut it
was a cheap chinese brand..once i replaced it by an old 300w one my computer
worked perfectly without any problems and i dont get
