Hi all!
I've finally bought a new laptop and gave away mine, so I didn't had a
chance to test the new kernel on that one. I'll be contributing now with
the new one, which has it's own compatibility problems :S. At least it
doesn't hang, so for me this issue is over.

Hi guys. Just an update: I tryed lastest Nvidia Driver, 173.14.12 with
no success. The system still hangs after a random ammount of time. I
decided to try intrepid alpha 3. After update, I could not be able to
log in to the system using kernel 2.6.26. I get a complete freeze. I
have to boot with 2.
This is a very annoying bug. Is there a workaround? It's happening to me with
Hardy/FF 3.0.2.
Is there any way I can contribute to solve this?

I was able to restore the system this way:
1. Booted with a previous kernel (3.0.x) which gave me back a mouse and the
terminals
2. Switched to a terminal ALT+CTRL+F1
3. Configured the network card (both wireless and wired cards where
unconfigured)
3. sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
Yes, I'll do this test during this week and came back with some results.
Thanks!
