I had this problem in Ubuntu from 15.04 all the way to 17.04, and now in
SolydK where it is even worse because none of the 10 possible ways to
get gnome-keyring-deamon to start on login to work!!!

Setting the multi-user.target causes a timeout error at boot,

I can't retry myself (ppa kernel, apw is able to make tests run
somehow). I'll be uploading a new kernel in the near future for the
iptables thing anyway, so I'll mark this invalid.

It's pretty normal for dkms modules to break when we switch to a new
upstream kernel version. We haven't put a 4.11-based kernel into the
artful release pocket yet (or even proposed for that matter), but we are
planning to do so soon.
