@Draycen - Hmm, I had a look at the latest gnome-panel .deb package but
it needs 35 dependency packages installing as well and the "too scary"
light has come on, as this is now my only functioning Karmic system at
the moment and I need it for doing "real work" on so I'm a bit worried
about breakage
First, I installed the version from comment 9 on the i686 machine on
which I build the package that I was using on the LPIA machine, and had
the same problem, so it wasn't *just* the LPIA machine. It's odd that
it was not reproducible on AMD64, but it's also now moot since the
update fixed it.

Hi Bryce. I started my old desktop that I hadn't used since last
September which allowed me to solve the problem. It has an nvidia
geforce 7600 graphics card. I booted the Lucid Netbook alpha 2 live cd
and observed that the AOC monitor was set to 1920 by 1080 and perfectly

First i didnt notice that theres a problem about totem in my system,
when i wanted to save a youtube video, then save it as as .flv filename,

Is there any progress? I tested latest 2.6.33-rc9 from ubuntu, the
problem is still there. rsyslog still doesn't work so I took another
picture. Back trace is quite similar and if looking at the bluetooth
part, the call stack (at least those shown in the console) is the
same.
