Hmm... As "Classic Mode" is the default, I'm not sure about this. If
anything deluged should be a Recommends, but not a Depends, of deluge.
Either way, I don't think this is something we'd want to diverge from
Debian over. I'm going to deffer to the Debian Maintainer.

I've determined that liblog-log4perl-perl doesn't seem to actually use
these build-dependencies at build time (no evidence that the test suite

I am having the same (if not, similar) problem. I have installed Ubuntu
9.10 on a Sony UX-380n Micro PC. The wireless card couldn't even be used
in previous versions (at least I don't recall it working at all)
I was suggesting you remove that .lock file and then reinstall clamav to
see if the error message disappears, and clamav installs correctly.

Note, that the audio interface worked fine with older versions of alsa-
utils in April-August 2009. (regression?)
Launchpad just refused to attach reports of apport, because it detects
them as empty files.

I am seeing the problem also. Running a kernel from the mainline-ppa (I
was requested to in bug #521260). Uname -a indicates:
2.6.33-999-generic #201002201003 SMP
dpkg --print-avail says I am running rsyslog_4.2.0-2ubuntu5.1_i386
