Hi Daniel. I've tried adjusting the input levels with mixed results.. On one occasion I was able to briefly record some sound snippets - but it sounded very noisy and then stopped working again... Really weird because my other laptop uses exactly the same chipset (it is an Advent machine), and that works perfectly. I've got two Acer Aspires One ZG8 and both demonstrate this behaviour so fairly certain a bug.
