USB Maxtor Onetouch II 300GB works perfectly on Edgy and WinXP. Ever
since I went to Feisty I can't see my USB hard drive on my desktop, and

I installed Kubuntu i386 Gutsy Tribe 2 on a Sony Vaio PCG-XG19. I did
the install in safe graphics mode, and so when I was done the system had
vesa as the driver in xorg.conf (is that supposed to happen?)

Network says diasbled, when I try to enable it nothing happens. I have
entered all the proper information, still nothing. When I loaded Kubuntu
I noticed that it could not find my wireless card when it searched for
the wireless Lan. I selected to configure wireless later. Can
Patch 02 has been applied in upstream. I will check if patches 01 and 03
are necessary, and if they are, I will change this bug from sync to
merge.

Synaptics touchpad not enabled for second
I have the exact same problem, but in this case its the DVD Drive.
There is only one fstab entry, but it shows up as a mounted removable
drive even when the DVD tray is empty.
When a CD/DVD is inserted, the mounted drive icon appears on the
desktop, pointing to the same location (as it normally s

I also was experiencing this problem. I've been up for 2 weeks now with
no white screens. I am using a similar board as Toadmund and have the
ATI radeon Xpress 200m onboard video. I'm running Feisty AMD64.
Shutting off the Cool 'n Quiet in the BIOS has kept it from happening.
