The reason for this is changes in the Debian makefile. The deb
maintainer has for some reason added the --no-mime flag to the Comix
install script, which disables the thumbnails and the x-cbr, x-cbz abd
x-cbt mime types (unless those where already defined).
The solution is to remove the --no-mime

Just FYI, I've tested your Edgy patch [1], and it doesn't work for me,
didn't dig much into why, found it not working and reversed the changed

I should add that Kubuntu 6.06 does *not* solve the problem, it only provides
the keyboard&mouse in "emulation" mode.

I think jon has enabled the universe repository since gnucash itself is in
universe.
I believe gnucash-docs should not be listed in gnome-app-install (Add/Remove
applications), if all doc packages where listed this would make it more
difficult to find a package. Only main packages need to be lis
gnucash should Recommend gnucash-docs and Recommended packages should be
installed by default by gnome-app-install and other graphical package
installation tools like synpatic (see bug #8896).

Public bug reported:
Ubutu funcioned with life DVD
After installation it functioned from hardisk with about 4 starts.
After a further restart it did not boot or crashed with NTLDR fehlt
A new installation from DVD ended with crash .
Is there an update without failures available?

Hi,
HP has just give out F17 Bios. It makes speedstepping_centrino work
again, but it fails to get the processor beyond 1.33Ghz.

Never mind my last comment. It seems that either 2.6.20-1 or -2, or
even 2.6.19 can either map IDE PATA disks as /dev/sd* or /dev/hd*
depending on... *gasp* luck! If I keep rebooting the computer sometimes
I get sda for my primary master IDE disk, sometimes I get hda. When I
get hda, DMA is disa
