If tsclient has focus and gnome-screensaver tries to start up, the
screen locks up.
I can switch to a VT and enter commands, the mouse moves, but I can't
change workspaces or choose icons or menus from the panels.

This is possible to implement with the new auto-mark code now. Maybe not
for edgy, but definitely for edgy+1. Until then the workaround is to use
"undo" from the menu.

Ok its changed a bit on my machine now
A bit further on in the boot i lose the artwork, get about the top 7/8
of the screen orange and the bottom black.
It then goes to a black screen.
I then get bits of what i think is grub code, then the tty1 log in
underneath that in a strange thin font.
I can confirm this.
I have asked for edgy version to be backported since that's very annoying
issue...

% CPU (mostly System CPU time; normal User CPU time) playing MPEGs.
There is no ALSA sound anymore while playing a video - I assume due to

It seems that I run into the same issue. When I open Rhythmbox and play
some music, it sometimes happens that I can listen to the music but that
I cannot use Rhythmbox anymore (I minimize it to the tray, maximizing
does not work then anymore). When the current song ends, a new song does
not follow

I am still at a loss. I monitored the cpu utilization On dapper vs edgy when
using glxgears. I have a Centrino Duo 2300. When running dapper live cd, the
cpu (only one is detected by default) goes to 100% as I would suspect it.
When running edgy, the cpus (it detects both by default), are running

I have just tested banshee 0.11.0 using the edgy debs.
Below is my output as I used the program. I have noticed that it no
longer writes to the console when it uses musicbrainz... but i know it
was using it because some song metadata was automatically updated.
