xserver-xorg-core which immediately upgraded it and X then worked on rebooting.
I don't know why it was on hold as it appears as a dependency and should have
been installed with xorg-server upgrade. I left Debian to get away fro

Yes I can confirm this in both Dapper and Edgy. Whenever the network
connection between the two hosts is terminated, nautilus on the client
(the one downloading) hits 100% CPU and remains there. It's quite a
serious bug because the only way to bring back down the cpu is to do a
'killall nautilus'

I can confirm that this happens on Edgy, while the package works fine on
dapper. IIRC 0.9.19-0ubuntu1 and earlier worked for me, but it broke
with 0.9.19-0ubuntu2. Compiling the wine source (without any special
options) has given me the segfaults with source from before 0.9.19 came
out.

Mateusz, I think this bug report is about nautilus dealing with stuff like
sudo /etc/init.d/dbus restart
which is problematic and not easy to solve, but a minor bug, as we don't just
restart dbus.

Simply adding a build-depends would have the effect wanted by the
submitter and it seems like a reasonable request. It's not clear that
_all_ of the libraries specified by the submitter are necessary; the
MOTU making this change should check which are needed perhaps by looking
at the kdemultimedia
(I meant to say that this is no bug, it just requires you to enable the
repository.)

Added an attachment of hubackup's device detector code. Just save it in
a folder, chmod 755 the file and execute it. If you have a CDRW or DVRW
or a USB disk attached to the system you should see a listing showing
them as entries.
