I am using Dapper with latest 686 packaged kernel (linux-
image-2.6.15-25-686 2.6.15-25.43) on a Sony Vaio SZ1M.
Alsamixer sees a HDA Sigmatel STAC7661 chipset and shows two items :
Master and PCM.

I can confirm this bug, too. On nearly every (but not every) startup,
the panel stops loading until I kill the deskbar-applet. The panel then
finishes loading and I am asked if I want to restart the applet. When I
confirm this, the deskbar-applet loads fine an can be used normally.

The resolution, before and after upgrade, is 1280x1024. The driver is
whatever driver got installed. I installed breezy ubuntu desktop from
scratch and it just worked. The upgrade has caused a few display
problems, including the impossibility of switching resolution (see bug
50504)

On a fresh Dapper install, after installing beagle the beagled daemon is
running but nothing in indexed by default. Going to
System->Preferences->Search & Indexing and unchecking then rechecking
the "Index home directory" option will cause beagle

I can confirm to this:
1) open Places->Computer
2) double-click any ntfs volume (several times, no result)
3) hit refresh (F5), volume shows mounted, and can now browse it.
my fstab NTFS volumes are as follows:
/dev/hda1/media/hda1ntfs
defaults,noauto,nls=utf8,umask=022,gid=46,user
After setting my ctrl-p combo for starting and stopping music the p key
did stop working, but after a reboot it works normally again, and the
ctrl-p still works for controlling my music.

I have the same problem with a Siemens Gigaset PC-Card. It worked correctly
with Breezy. I think that the problem is the kernel, as reported into bug
#34752. I hope that will be fixed soon, or I can't use my notebook.
