on your skills for assigning importance to defects - if you simply sweep

No - a kernel bug is a kernel bug. it may be related to the way Ubantu
works with hardware, but it is STILL a defect in the kernel. I have
reported the issue to you. If you choose not to do anything about it
then that's fine by me, as I will not be using this product - it's
broken.

A kernel bug is something hardware related.
The linux kernel is common between Ubuntu and Fedora, so if you're running the
latest Fedora, you will not have problems with the latest Ubuntu.
