edgy is still supported, maybe you have wrong idea on what it means
though. We can't backport every change from unstable to all the stable
distributions. Bug are closed when they are fixed to the current
distribution, when we want to apply a change to an another distribution
we open a backport task
i was under the impression that edgy was still a supported release.

I've had this bug on both my desktop and laptop machines. It can open 3 or 4
windows at least perhaps 5. All show the home directory. Both run Edgy. It is
currently happening quite frequently on my laptop, so let me know what useful
info i can collect.
It can happen after I reboot and launch nau
this edgy install was from before the release of edgy. i used to beable
to replicate this bug, but after playing around with the gnome options
with gconf. i haven't managed to see this bug ever again.

Thought I'd drop by to let you know: after resetting my Gnome
configuration to defaults this problem has been fixed.
Presumably it's a custom configuration that wasn't an issue in Dapper,
but is in Edgy.

I can confirm on edgy, even when using the default ubuntu mode. Besides,
if you set a shortcut or keybinding for nautilus --no-desktop it opens

I know it never happened to me under Dapper, as Seb has stated. I started

I don't even know what a a11y is, so I guess I'm not using that. I am
running running a thin client setp either. I quickly looked over my

bug. Nothing changed in this file when I re-produced this bug. I don't

Hi,
No click issues in other applications (Well, apart from a malfunctioning
middle-button, but that's not involved here and causes problems with
other OSs). A11y isn't enabled. No thin client setup, just a normal
desktop box.
The only messages in .xsession-errors are:

Thanks for your bug. Do you have any message to ~/.xsession-errors about
that? Do you have some click issues with other applications too? That
looks similar to bug #67517. Do you use a11y? Do you have a thin client
setup?
