what do you mean with "evolution indicator" ?
i thought it was a general indicator for whichever UMA the user set in
"Preferred Applications" in System > Preferences..

how do i clean up the mess i made with the comments??
first off, evolution is not currently my default app for mail, yet the launcher
launches evolution.
should we open a new bug on this one, first?
if the user configures another app as default UMA in his preferences, all of

The messaging menu spec has this

What do you suggest? Its should change the mail window to contact rather
than opening a new window? maybe its evolution indicator issue?

i am using lucid and i still have the problem, even after todays updates..
i believe they didn't include an update on evolution..
using Evolution 2.28.3 here..
@sebastien: are you using a newer version of evolution?
i also updated
