Thank you for reporting this bug. tsclient has been removed from the
Ubuntu 11.10 archives. The software has not had a new release in years
and was no longer being maintained. Unfortunately that means this bug
won't be fixed.

Darn it! Took me a while to reproduce the problem. I run a 8800GT graphics card
with Nvidia drivers. Driver version 180.44. It seems that as soon as I change
my resolution or refresh rate and "apply", this happens.
I will now kill the terminal screen and restart it to see if it happens again.

Which protocol do you use?
VNC use port 5900 by default.
You can monitor network traffic by using "netstat".
There are other vnc viewer like vinagre or xvnc4viewer, I have never try
(today, I have a single computer).
So you could know if problems comes from network/vnc server or from vnc client.
No this is not the case. In most cases, the problem manifests itself
within 30 seconds of connecting to the remote PC. ie. It might freeze on
the logon screen or halfway after I opened my 1st app. Please note that
it is not the remote XP box that is freezing it is the local instance of
remote deskt
If you do not move mouse or use keyboard, the screen-saver see computer as
idle, even if display change (e.g. a video).
Is it the case?
