I have this issue with 9.04, didn't you actually mean 9.04 not 8.04? I have gnome-terminal in Startup and by ccsm settings, it will be put in "Desk 3". But it doesn't work, it shows up in "Desk 1" and misses the title bar. (Title bar comes back if I open a new tab though.) -- Launching gnome-ter

Actually it just happened when I set xclock to launch on start-up. Previously xclock appeared (near top of screen but nearer to the center) with no problems but then when it appeared in the top left corner, it's title bar was obscured and again could not move it. The problem seems to be where (and

Unfortunately I don't have a live cd. But could you let me know which file(s) I can modify to try to launch gnome-terminal on start-up? That could also give more info if I am able to launch on start-up via another method. Also which files are modified by Session Preferences to launch gnome- termin
