Dear Christopher, I've been out on holiday since the beginning of the
month (without the laptop). I came back yesterday, so now I've been able
to test the kernel.
Good news: when I turned on the laptop, a huge update was waiting for
me, including a new kernel version, 4.4.0-31. I have booted with
Juan Carlos Amengual, the next step is to fully reverse commit bisect
from kernel 4.4 to 4.7-rc4 in order to identify the last bad commit,
followed immediately by the first good one. Once this good commit has
been identified, it may be reviewed for backporting. Could you please do
this following
