Card-2: Qualcomm Atheros Device 0042 bus-ID: 03:00.0
IF: N/A state: N/A speed: N/A duplex: N/A mac: N/A
It should support IEEE 802 b/g/n(150,300MB) and ac.

I do have the same card installed. According to Acer datasheet the
integrated WiFi card uses Wireless LAN Standard IEEE 802.11ac, which is
pretty new. Could it be, that the driver is not ready yet?.

Michael Stenta, you need to use the default Ubuntu kernel (not mainline)
when using apport-collect.
However, reporting to bugzilla is the wrong venue as it is legacy, and
reporting upstream at all is premature as you are using an old kernel
that isn't supported anymore.

I can confirm that this is an issue.
I dug into this a bit and found that the Qualcomm Atheros 168c:0042 is
not yet supported in the Linux kernel Ath10k drivers (0041 was just
added recently).

Thank you christoper for providing a latest iso tested image. I burned a
ISO and tried to check on my laptop.
This iso has a bug. After installation, when i restarted my laptop for a
very first time. I got a strange error and i couldn't able to use
