Thanks Christopher - I'm new to launchpad issue queues - not 100% familiar with the standard procedures...
I tried running "ubuntu-bug linux" on the laptop in question (Acer E5-573G), but received: "It appears you are currently running a mainline kernel. It would be better to report this bug upstream at http://bugzilla.kernel.org/ so that the upstream kernel developers are aware of the issue. If you'd still like to file a bug against the Ubuntu kernel, please boot with an official Ubuntu kernel and re-file." I assume that is because I am running the 4.2.3 kernel. Should I switch back to 3.19, and try again? Or should this bug be posted upstream instead? Also, I found this issue which is exactly the same (and reported by the same person): https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1484159 Should they be merged? Or should this all be pushed upstream? Again, sorry for my unfamiliarity with procedure here... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1483494 Title: WIFI not working on Acer Aspire E5-573 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1483494/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
