I do have the same card installed. According to Acer datasheet the
integrated WiFi card uses Wireless LAN Standard IEEE 802.11ac, which is
pretty new. Could it be, that the driver is not ready yet?.

I'am running on my laptop:

$uname -a
Linux wotan 4.2.0-25-generic #30-Ubuntu SMP Mon Jan 18 12:31:50 UTC 2016 x86_64
x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Please advice how to proceed. can do some

Thanks

Frank

P.S. I can help w/ some troubleshooting, but I'm not an expert in Wifi
drivers. So please give me detailed instructions so I can support you w/
input.
