The Ubuntu Beta release worked fine with my laptop! Sometimes the installer
seemed to freeze but after taking a good coffee and a little bit endurance the

OK, the daily live CD builds should be stable again. Can you download
the latest daily live CD (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/) and see

This is most likely due to a bug in unionfs that will be fixed soon. I
will follow up and ask you to try a new daily build when that issue has
been resolved.
