Hi The Ubuntu Beta release worked fine with my laptop! Sometimes the installer seemed to freeze but after taking a good coffee and a little bit endurance the installation progress went on. I'd say it is no longer a real bug but the installation could be more fluent. So I think we can close the bug.
I'll test test a new live-cd in the next days again.
