You can boot with the hw-detect/start_pcmcia=false boot parameter.
This can be done by entering the letter 'e' at the GRUB menu, then
adding hw-detect/start_pcmcia=false to the boot cmd line.
Another thing you can do is to edit the /etc/default/grub line and add
that parameter to:

I do not really know how to do that. I have never used a PCMCIA card
and my computer is a laptop, so I cannot phisically uninstall the PCMCIA
slot. Maybe I can configure it on the BIOS? I have not been able to find
any information about booting without PCMCIA.
