Sorry about the posting format. I'll keep that in mind next time! I could have swore that I truncated it. I did read a conversation between some of the kernel developers regarding this particular piece of hardware. Unfortunately Hauppauge provides very little documentation which makes troubles

:-( next time please post your dmesg logs as a file. I have a pvrusb2 as well and when I hibernate it just doesn't wake up, and I lent it to a friend who had the same issue on his computer(s?) so this issue has been reproduced. Is this bug possibly related to Bug 105563 in hal (Ubuntu)? Because
