Sorry about the posting format.  I'll keep that in mind next time!  I could
have swore that I truncated it.

I did read a conversation between some of the kernel developers regarding
this particular piece of hardware.   Unfortunately Hauppauge provides very
little documentation which makes troubleshooting from a developer standpoint
very difficult.   At least I can watch TV on it which works for me.  If they
fix it in the future then that would be great!

I still don't understand how uninstalling/reinstalling the apps would affect
USB's decision to wake-up the device?  but who knows..   Stranger things
have happened.
