I'm sorry, the problem is fixed. Ubuntu asked to update the database and
then it was possible to completely remove TorrentFlux and dbconfig-
common.

Well, I don't want to install and configure any database, so I decided
to uninstall TorrentFlux but it is impossible because of the problem
with the database. Can anyone help how to get rid of TorrentFlux easily?

I think that the problem i had on this was actually that I did not have
MySQL installed and set up PRIOR to torrentflux installation...

already fixed the problem though... I made sure that MySQL, etc, were
installed and set up BEFORE I went to install TorrentFlux... (currently
running Ubuntu 7.10 installed from netboot CD 9.1 MB including LAMP server
on install) if you need the link, let me know, and I will find it again...

addressed though once you've installed it I suppose it's no longer a
problem.

To address the problems installing, you should look at the recommended
and suggested packages of torrentflux. You'll definitely need the
recommended mysql-client if you are using the automatic database
configuration. Also, if you don't have access to a remote database,
you'll need the suggested mys
torrentflux is the affected package, not Ubuntu.
