Gcompris translation was totally reworked last weekend by the Portuguese GNOME translation team. The new translation is available in GNOME svn [1]. Note that this was a request of gcomris main developer, Bruno Coudoin in gnome-i18n. The reviewed translation was included in the new gcompris version

well, it's now 2009 march 8, and http://l10n.gnome.org/POT/gcompris.HEAD/gcompris.HEAD.pt.po still has incredible and terrible portuguese errors like dirije (should be dirige), aua (água), copía (copia), caêm (caem), which should be fixed as soon as possible, since GCompris is targeted to children
