With the new updates today to Kernel 2.6.31-13 Error messages are
resolved for me. Karmic64 beta all updated.

Sorry still pretty new to linux so after one more clean install attempt
the trash problem continued to do the same thing as mentioned. I tried
rebooting and restarting, then i just logged off and logged back in and
the problem was no more. Have been playing with the 64-bit ubuntu
8.04Lts all day wi
