Ubuntu hardy-64-bit>Kernal 2.6.24.19generic. amd64X2 Motherboard OEM_hp
made by asus> board name IVY8. These 3 errors show up right after grub
loads. 1. pnp: PnPACPI: METHOD_NAME_CRS failure for PNP0c01" 2.
dmi_string out of memory. 3. dmi_save_oem_string devices out of memory.
Ubuntu locks up from time to time. Get the same errors on all restarts.
Tried installing 32-bit had same errors. Did a clean reinstall of hardy
64-bit same errors. Hope this helps.
