I am running Feisty on an Acer Aspire 5650 with latest updates (2.6.20-16-generic) and I am experiencing the same problem. This stops me from using Hibernate mode. Currently I don't have an opportunity to use any power safe modus, because Suspend To Ram is completely broken (this is not related to
