Please close the ticket. After a 2 weeks off and upgrading to latest
version the problem disappeared. Not sure what changed but it is solved

out that the power consumption on the login screen is below 100W.

bought a Creative SoundBlaster SE which I read is supported by Linux.
But I still have no sound. I checked the speaker and headphones I pl

track, but currently only one user is logged in and there is no sound. I have
started Audacity and selected ALSA and HDA Intel PCH: ALC892 Analog but get no
sound. There is no pulseaudio involved.

Using a Java application that uses the system theme, e.g. Netbeans,
together with the Ubuntu Radiance theme dosn't look well. The menues are
drawn without the frame around them as with native applications. The
Ambiance theme is nearly unreadable.
I did a fresh install and configured a crypted user home (/home/user) that is
opened at login using pam.
I have the following errors in my auth.log.
