Public bug reported: I have a serious issue with the 17.10 installer. Very early in the installation process the installer asks which installation destination to use. There you can choose use whole disk, with a warning all data lost! If you have multiple disks in your system, would you choose this option? I did not because I feared that this crappy software destroys the wrong disk.
After unplugging my disks, reboot etc., I found out that there is a drop down to choose the disk, in the next page of the wizard. THIS IS TO LATE! Please put this drop down where you ask for a decision to delete a disk. ** Affects: base-installer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1727506 Title: Delete whole disk, disk choice missing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/base-installer/+bug/1727506/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
