The available script named touchpad_numpad_m433ia.py works for me with a
minor fix, as I can describe:
1) install.sh script detects the correct interface of the numeric pad:

I have spent the past 2 hours trying to connect the cumputer and ubuntu
os with both att and cricket usb wireless devices, with out any luck.
My question is why wont the ubuntu os work with my att internet system.
is it compatible with windows xp or what? can i get a phone nu

Didn't work for me, knocked out networking! Commented out the line but
still no sound although networking is restored.

I have a HP dv5-1002nr with the same problem using Ubuntu Intrepid. All
buttons work, except the Quick Play button (that launchs a media player)
and Wireless On/Off button.

Same problem, eeePC running Ubuntu 8.04 Netbook Remix 2.6.24-21-eeepc
and the headset is a Plantronics 340 bluetooth headset. The headset
pairs and works well with my Nokia E50 and the Nokia E50 works OK with
bluetooth dongle on both my Ubuntu 8.04 novatech laptop and my eeepc.

If you are using the configuration I've wrote, I think you are already using
these buttons.
As I can see, only remains know how to enable the horizontal scroll (yes, the

The red button only work here in Firefox with the "Back" function.
About the others buttons, i think they are like this:
1- Left Click
2- Right Click
3- Scroll Click
4- Scroll up
5- Scroll down
6- Scroll left
