trickle up to speed (patches from a variety of sources always plays
havoc). I've reordered the patches and now the scheduling patch you
posted works. Sorry for the confusion.

is not specified then trickle will default to limiting the speed to
10kB/s. This happens for either uploads or downloads, whichever value is

option "4" on GRUB2, so I changed /etc/defaults/grub to reflect this and
ran "sudo update-grub". All went well until the first kernel update,
which added the "Previous kernels" entry and bumped Windows down a

I have confirmed that going into the KDE System Settings -> Application
Appearance -> GTK+ Appearance and changing the widget style to
something other than "oxygen-gtk" prevents Filezilla from crashing. The
work around has the side effect of making GTK apps look boxy, but it
does fix the crash. (T

Seems there was a problem with the way Firefox was handling the Adobe
Flash plugin. I disabled the Flash plugin (tools->addons->plugins) and I
was still seeing the Flash error messages. This continued to happen
after changing Firefox versions (to 3.6.6 and 3.6.8).

I also have this issue with Ubuntu 9.04 and SearchandRescue. It seems
whatever key is pressed first doesn't get cleared. I don't have this
problem on ubuntu 9.10, but it's also a different machine, so it might
