BBC iplayer fails to display movie when visual effec
That does appear to be the problem more than anything ... I believe it's all
down to the Flash scripting because sites like the BBC one use a lot of
that, it's been a long time since i've checked if youtube works ok, I
believe it did from the beginning.

Add the following line to /etc/modprobe.d/options
options forcedeth msi=0 msix=0
Then rebuild initramfs like this
sudo update-initramfs -u
and remove any stuff you added to /etc/rc.local
Reboot.
NOTE: if the update-initramfs bit goes wrong it could stop your system

I have same problem and when I tried to install the patches I got broken
dependencies warning and it was suggested to execute 'apt-get install -f' to
fix it but when I tried that I got this
