Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

When visual effects are turned on (System -> Preferences -> Appearance
-> Visual Effects) the flash player in the browser cannot play any movie
related content from the BBC website.

Changing the visual effects to "None" allows this content to play
normally.
