AMD64 system with 2 500gb Samsung HDs in RAID0 format.
Upgrading 9.04 to 9.10 results in my PC not booting, dropping to busybox
prompt after 10 sec of the Ubuntu logo. No error messages appear.
A fresh install from Live CD only sees a RAID array,
I think this bug, or something similar, is keeping my Karmic from
booting. The installer "sees" one large disk made up of my 2 500gb HDs
... it does not see the Jaunty installation at all. Install with or
without RAID results in system not booting.

I tried to make a DVD ISO image from a large .avi file (1.7gig). I
chose make DVD iso image from the menu, set up the options ( 8 gig DVD
media ) and started the project. I expected to get an ~7 gig iso,
instead devede made a 2.7 gig raw CD image
