I am running the latest NVIDIA driver, and I now have the correct screen
resolution, but it is crashing after a few minutes, especially when web
browsing. The browser will become unresponsive, turn dark, then the
mouse will freeze, then the entire machine will reboot after about 20
seconds or so.

I think I was able to fix it by manually changing the apt-get sources
from natty to oneric and removing one problematic 32-bit library package
that the update was complaining about. I also had to do some other post
install fixes, like updating grub to work with the 3.x kernel

I have a GA-X58A-UD7 motherboard, and wanted to plug my boot SSD into one of
the SATA3 slots, and use the SATA2 connections for external drives. It was
also convenient to do so because of mechanical interference between the S
