Installed a nightly build of jaunty through flash drive on my mini 9( I
believe it was the March 5th, second edition build.)and suspend/resume
doesn't work. I upgraded to the new kernel (-9) this morning but the
problem was not fixed. It suspends fine but does not resume.

This is a BIOS bug. Download A04 and it will most likely be fixed.
Unfortunately, it is a bit of a pain to update the bios without windows
on your mini, but there is a windows utility that you can use to make a
bootable flash drive with the bios on it.

Brightness adjustment goes crazy on Dell
AFAIK, network manager is not compatible with XFCE. I just use iwconfig.
And just to clarify, after adding those lines into my
/etc/network/interfaces file and restarting the card works perfectly.
The only problem is just that the installer did not add those lines on
its own.

I installed Kubuntu Dapper on my Thinkpad 240 with a pcmcia wifi
card(D-Link DWL-G630). In dapper, the card worked perfectly and would
automatically reconnect when i brought the laptop out of standby. The
laptop uses apm and it goes in/out of standby using hardware buttons. It
