I don't think that hiding a pointer when it does not disturb your vision
is a good idea. For example now I am typing in this field and I find
it's quite an advantage to see where the pointer actually is. At least
hiding shouldn't be default behavior, people who really need this

Yes I miss. But I think that wasn't just a decision of rhythmbox, but
rather of gnome. Almost all current applications use similar interface
so it'd be hard to fix that.
IMHO the button should be placed in the top of menu like in transmission.

full available installed documentation. For me it does not find libcairomm
reference. Neither does devhelp show it in contents panel, nor I can find it

I guess that it is a bug of awn rather than of gconf, as awn as far as I
know is the only application to break after the update. Maybe it just
exposed one of the bugs in awn which relies on specific behavior of
gconf?

I think it is general deficiency of computer-janitor. For example it
doesn't suggest me to close synaptic, instead it just reports 'dpkg
returned error status X'. My opinion is that there should be at least a
bit information about what caused the problem provided.
