Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xournal

xournal needs the ability to customize keyboard shortcuts. Firstly because
current keyboard shortcuts are uncomfortable. Why to use Ctrl+Shift+letter when
is a much easier combination of for example Ctrl+letter.
In addition to that even bigger problem exists: combinations which consist of
more than one special button (ctrl/alt/shift/super) tend to be used as global
shortcuts. This means that any user who uses them to quickly launch an
application or to control the behavior of conpiz will find xournal a bit
annoying.

P.S. A good example is rhythmbox where each menu entry can have a
shortcut which can be customized hovering mouse over the menu item and
pressing desired combination.

** Affects: xournal (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
