Strange colors happen also on console (CTRL ALT F1 ...) and on second boot
splash (the one with the 5 dots and the Ubuntu text).
I have to mention that the first boot splash (the one with the two icons

This first happened on reboot after I upgraded my 8.04 LTS to the latest RC on
a Dell Inspiron 510m.
I tho
i must apologize because i found out this is not a bug, this "behaviour"
can be reproduced on a windows box + IE.
The message was quite misleading and while it looked like a bug, jumped
like a bug, it was just a server side error message.
Please consider this case closed.
