Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 9.04
2.6.28-11-generic

compizconfig-settings-manager:
  Installé : 0.8.2-0ubuntu1
  Candidat : 0.8.2-0ubuntu1
 Table de version :
 *** 0.8.2-0ubuntu1 0

        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

i've been using compiz-setting-manager and specifically "command" to
assign bindings to personnal commands.

So far i have succesfully created several bindings using the ctrl+alt
modifier together with a letter ( ie "ctrl+alt+a" launch gnome-terminal,
"ctrl+alt+w" launch nautilus in a predefined folder)

Weird enough, my original french layout (AZERTY) is not retained and i
have to do the QWERTY equivalent keystroke to have those shortcuts
working properly, respectively "ctrl+alt+q to" launch gnome-terminal,
and "ctrl+alt+z" to launch nautilus in a predefined folder

So far i have not found a workaround, i've been forced to use a trick
when creating my key bindings as if i was using a qwerty keyboard, and
then doing the normal azerty keystroke to obtain the desired effect.

anyone else noticed that behaviour ?
