Ubuntu 14.04 running handbrake from ppa version
0.9.9+dfsg-2~2.gbpa4c3e9build1 kernel 3.13.0-30-generic. crashes every

I just tried Banshee 1.5b to see if it was better then the last version
which I stopped using because of the last.fm issues. I have since
switched to amarok and the last.fm player in the ubuntu repo's which
work perfectly. I like banshee but if I can't use it to listen to my
last.fm tag's it just c

Amarok 2.1 beta under Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 RC1 constantly re-scans music
collection every couple of minutes making it impossible to do anything
else like change settings or use cd cover art manager while it is doing

I really didn't mean to upset anyone, I use awn on 2 of my 3 machines,
the ones still running hardy. just using the other on the intrepid
machine until awn gets working on it.

I thought we were trying to help people who wanted to use a dock
launcher get something that worked?? or is this all about telling people
that it's nvidia's fault?? I have used awn for years and periodically
have problems. If you want to use something in the meantime while Nvidia
or awn or whomever
I have the same problems and do not have the new drivers. a temporary
solution would be to use Cairo-Dock instead. I have attached a
screenshot of mine. some people like it a lot more then avant and it is
considerably more configurable. It does not suffer from the issues with
artifacts like awn do

I am assuming something is broken in gshutdown although it could be
something else. I just recently upgraded to the final version of Hardy
Heron and I cannot reboot, logoff or shutdown. it quits the session but
just sits at the desktop wallpaper until I use the ctrl+alt+backsp
I identified that using aiglx was the problem for me. I switched back to
using xgl and everything is fine again. Thanks

Same thing happens to me when using feisty or gutsy. only happens if I
use avant-window-navigator though. If I use the regular panel it doesn't
happen, I have NVIDIA 7600 GS 512MB. It doesn't happen at all using
opensuse 10.3 even using avant-window-navigator so it must be something
related to ubun
