I'm replying directly here, not via launchpad's bug listing. The first
thing that I tried after the upgrade broke was apt-get -f install, and that
gave me the error that apt (and the upgrade) was broken.
As apt is broken, I would probably have to install python-launchpad outside
of apt/dpkg and th
Strange attitude. This bug pops up in the first week that the point
release is available and now it's marked as invalid.
I did say in my earlier post that apport is broken too. If you offer an
alternative to get the info, I will gladly try it.

After booting everything is slow. Compiz.real uses 80~90 CPU . The

I didn't know how to make a new profile so I just made a new user
account thinking that would set everything back to scratch and the
problem with the play button still exists. I did file another bug report
from the new user acc. Maybe different information to work with?

Hi,
I have just installed Ubuntu(8.10) on my Dell Inspiron 8200. It works
well with wired-LAN, however, when I insert my Dlink DWL-G650+ WLAN card
