Apparently this is not a solved problem, as my fresh 16.04 install hangs on
shutdown with NFS drives mounted.
My fstab:

After upgrading to 14.10 (fresh install) my NFS drive does no longer
mounts automatically at boot when the network is up and running.
Manually running mount -a mounts the drive as expected and hacking a
mount -a command into mountall-net.conf makes my system function
normally

Have just updated my D945GCLF2 based home server from Ubuntu 9.10 (32
bit) to 10.10 (64 bit) and everything seems to be working well. Has been
running for 4 days now and no funny warnings/errors in dmesg. USB is
running fine in EHCI mode with a DVB-T receiver (Hauppauge Nova-T).
Kernel is 2.6.35-25
Installed the package as requested (sorry for the delay). The firmware
file is installed correctly and solves this bug. Thanks for the great

Just tried to boot the 10.4 Desktop x86 Live CD via an USB stick
prepared with unetbootin (there is no CDROM drive in the machine). After
a lot of EHCI errors it seems to revert to UHCI and continue the boot
albeit very slowly.
Lucid is practically unusable on the D945GCLF2 board for now :-(
