I can confirm the problem too when running the Gutsy AMD64 livecd. Tried to manually download and install the 20071018 packages from ftp://ftp.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/i/icedtea-java7/, but there seems to be a version disreprancy right now for the AMD64 packages.
