I installed pitivi 0.14.0 from the gstreamer ppa. The install completes
correctly. However, when I start the program, it displays a dialog box
saying:
You do not have a recent enough version of the GTK+ Python bindings
(currently 2.17.0)
Install
I un-installed fluidsynth-dssi 1.0.0-2 and installed fluidsynth-dssi
0.9.1-3ubuntu4 from lucid (I just copied the deb file across from
another computer; dependencies were still satisfied). Both Rosegarden
and jack-dssi-host still give the same raucous white-noise sound.
Note that Rosegarden worked
Other dssi plugins (xsynth, wsynth) work properly with jack-dssi-host
and rosegarden.

Ah-ha. Brasero does detect a CD-R correctly if you first burn a disk
using Rhythmbox.
It did the following:
1. booted up and logged on
2. inserted a blank CD-R
3. started Brasero: it gave its usual error about 0:00 min free on the CD-R
4. closed Brasero

A few days ago, however, I did manage to burn a blank CD-R. There were
two differences:
1. I was at work and had an Ethernet network connected, so network
manager reported the network as being on-lin

While creating an audio CD, Brasero displayed the wrong track duration
and burned a bad disk. First, I added some .WAV files to the brasero
audio cd project. I then realised that they needed tweaking, so I re-
generated the .WAV files from my audi
The workaround (changing scale to 100%) works for me -- almost
permanently.
If I select 'File > Print Preview', the preview looks good. However,
selecting 'File > Print' after that, the scale has changed back to 1%.
Changing 'File > Page Setup' does not affect the scale.

like for this bug report is to have mencoder as a 'suggested' or

computer, the phone offers to become a USB mass storage device, and
